Afterlife - Production Designer

We meet Ahmed, a young man living in Los Angeles in early 2000s with his only sense of family - his friend Hakim. When Hakim is wrongfully taken by a counterterrorism unit, Ahmed’s world collapses. In his isolation and grief, he’s drawn toward those who promise justice but preach vengeance. What follows is a compressed portrait of his descent - a transformation shaped by loss, fear, and the hunger to belong. It is a film that explores how a boy becomes a weapon.
